Welcome

Hello and welcome to my blog. I am somewhat new to blogging so this might be rough for a while. To start, here is a little about myself: I am a 35 year old working step-mom to a video game obsessed 9 year old. I also have a neurotic German Shepherd that thinks she is my other kid, 3 bearded dragons, one beta fish, and a bunch of unwelcome lady bugs that think our house is their home and never really go away.

I have recently discovered Young Living essential oils, so many of my posts will probably be related to that. I also have an obsession with cherry blossoms (in case you couldn't tell by my blog title) and the color purple. My husband (nicknamed Dragon) works two jobs and is a hard working, loving husband and daddy who puts up with me and all my crazy ideas. The words "Damn Pinterest" are uttered by him on a weekly basis, mostly as a result of some kind of project I thought I could handle myself because it looked "so easy" and actually required his assistance and expertise. He is a jack of all trades and there isn't anything he can't fix!

We also own a beautiful home in southern New Hampshire in which the previous owner thought the solution to every home repair was duck tape. We have slowly been renovating it room by room.  Thank you for joining me for my hopefully successful projects and random day to day life!
