Fall Bedroom Ideas - Autumn Bedroom

I love living in New England. We complain about the weather all the time, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The best part is the changing of the seasons and getting to re-decorate the house and embrace all the things the new season comes with.

For Fall, it is the crisp cool mornings, the beautiful foliage, pumpkins, mums, apple picking, and of course everything pumpkin spice!

My favorite place to decorate is my bedroom. I love carrying over the changing of each of the seasons to my cozy bedroom.  Here are some ideas that can help you make your bedroom feel more like Fall.

The Bed: Cozy flannel sheets and decorative pillows!

• Flannel Sheets: Tan Plaid from Target $25.64. I also love these as options. Shop around for better deals. Sometimes Groupon has good deals on sheets as well. 
• Orange Leaf (Target)
• Trees (Amazon)
• White/Orange/Aqua (BedBath & Target & Amazon)
• Accent Pillows: Pillow cases in aqua and brown all from Walmart (about $6 each)
• Fall Decorative Pillows: The Christmas Tree Shops has a great selection and cheep prices. These have lasted me about 2 years

• Comforter - Purchased at Kohls during a Black Friday deal for $19.99 any size. I love how one side is tan that I use for Fall, and for Christmas I flip it to the white side and add other colored blankets for contrast. 
• Throw blanket - I already had this blanket, it was purchased from Kohls as well, but any contrasting Fall color would work. 

The Shelf: If you don't have a shelf, a bureau or side table would be perfect to decorate as well.

• Knit pumpkin and wooden pumpkin - Christmas Tree Shops again had these for cheep!
• Wooden "Harvest" sign - Christmas Tree Shops again! Etsy would also be a perfect place to find original wooden Fall signs. 
• Vase/Flowers - I had the vase already and the flowers were from Michaels Craft store. AC Moore also has a great selection of Fall flowers
• Lantern - Purchased on Amazon. Came as a 2 pack and I use the other one in a different room of the house. It has a timer on it so it shuts off after so many hours and turns on again at the same time each day. I can't find my exact listing as it was purchased many years ago. 

Ambiance: Lights & Scents

• Christmas lights work for any time of year! I usually have fake leaves wrapped around my wrought iron bed, but we got a puppy this year and fake leaves are a favorite snack of hers so those had to go for this year.
• Pumpkin candle - Given to us as a housewarming gift. 

• Essential Oil Diffuser - I love Young Living essential oils and I usually diffuse my favorite diffuser combinations for each season.
